My personal journey fuels my mission to help others thrive: In 2016 I survived a near-fatal abduction and experienced first-hand the power of resilience, mindfulness, and self-trust in rebuilding my life after trauma. I returned to the science and art of healing and thriving to complete my doctorate in clinical psychology and a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard. Today, I work at the intersection of psychology, wellbeing, and leadership to guide others through sustainable transformation. She then spent sixteen days at an immersive Yoga Teacher Training in 2009 where she earned her 200 hour RYT certification. Kim owned a yoga and fitness studio (Vareika Personal Training and Yoga) from 2009-2021. She then took her business virtual to be able to reach and connect with more students around the globe. She has worked with a range of clients from differently abled populations to seniors to professional athletes. Kim is passionate about making yoga accessible to people of all ages and abilities. After college, I worked in the corporate world for ten years before becoming an entrepreneur and running different businesses, primarily in the construction and fitness industries. During this time I dealt with high levels of anxiety and stress. I had always stayed consistent in regular exercise and realized that my health routines were not only helping me physically but the primary manager of my mental health as well. With increasing levels of anxiety and difficulty sleeping, I increased focus on coaching others while taking additional steps to manage my own anxiety, as well as physical health.
